Bahareh's Engagement Party

On June 4th, 2016, Peacocks & Paisleys Event Decor helped Bahareh and Mostapha celebrate their engagement in Baltimore, MD. With the help from photographer Bernard Polo:  (https://www.enhancemoments.com/) and florals by Rebekah Sperry Florals:  (https://www.instagram.com/rebekahsperryfloral/), we created an amazing and beautiful event!

Bahareh wanted more neutral colors for this event so we decided on white, ivory, and champagne.  We used white sheers to cover the windows leading to the hallway with uplighting. Below is a photo of the backdrop we created for photo ops. Once again, we love the elegant and clean look of simplicity!

We set up several cocktail tables with ivory tablecloths, champagne embroidered overlays, large gold mercury glass votive candles, clear votive candles, and florals by Rebekah Sperry Florals.

Below is the draping we used in ivory and white sheers with gold frames and uplighting to hide the kitchen. The ceilings in this section of the venue were over 18ft tall! We had to use out taller pipe and drape frames for this. One piece of decor Bahareh specifically requested were the gold frames.

The 8ft tables where guests ate included ivory linens, champagne embroidered overlays, gold manzanita trees with hanging crystals, gold candelabras with hanging crystals, large and small gold mercury glass votive candles, florals by Rebekah, and gold chargers. Also, notice the candle votives and florals on the fireplace mantle; Bahareh wanted those for Mostapha because of his love for clean lines.

Even though this engagement party was over a year and a half ago, it's still one of our most favorite events! Bahareh was such a joy to work with and get to know.  We were so happy to make her decor vision come to life. Check back in the next few weeks to see Bahareh's wedding featured on the blog!

Here's one final photo with the beautiful couple!
